PRIVACY POLICY

Bluestone Voices for Autism values the trust that its donors place in the organization.  It is committed to protecting the personal information of its donors, including personal identification data and financial information. It is also committed to protecting the personal information of applicants for its funding.  This policy explains what information is collected, and what is done with it.

Information on our donors is obtained at the time of voluntary donation and is kept secure. Credit card information for payments is not maintained in our records unless the donor has chosen to make a recurring donation. BVA uses this information to process transactions, communicate with our donors and provide records for tax purposes. BVA does not rent or sell donor names and information and does not share it with any other organization. A donor may remain anonymous if they choose.

Financial information entered at the time of donation is maintained confidentially through the security policies of WePay, a division of Chase Bank.

Information on financial aid applications is used for the sole purpose of determining eligibility for funding.  It is reviewed only by the Financial aid committee, who brings their recommendations to the Board. Applications are maintained in a secure system, for reconsideration in the future. An applicant may opt out of retention of their application by a written request to BVA.

Any questions regarding our privacy policy should be directed to the BVA Board President.
